War Manager
A Python-based ABM that commands entire theaters: economy, strategy, force command, recon/intel, and reactive AI that re-plans as the battle shifts.
SASZEL STUDIO · FLAGSHIP PROJECT
Saszel Studio is a software studio building tools for large-scale simulation. Our flagship project, IASER, turns a stock DCS World Dedicated Server into an autonomous, AI-commanded battlefield — with an AI War Manager that owns economy and strategy, and an offloading system that keeps the sim responsive.
Saszel-Studio's Uphold Democracy is a large-scale WWII DCS World dedicated server — up to 1,000 players across the beaches of Normandy, a live war economy, AI-assisted command, and 60-tick performance. The biggest battle you'll ever fly in.

Saszel Studio is a team of engineers, modders, and DCS pilots. We started with a frustration: DCS World is a brilliant physics engine, but it was never built to be a strategic mind — there's no economy, no grand-strategy planning, and no AI that decides what to attack and when.
So we built the tooling to fix it. That tooling became IASER — our flagship, and the only project we're shipping right now. Everything we do at Saszel Studio flows back into making IASER the best way to command forces in DCS World.
IASER (IAgent State Architecture for Strategy Engineering and Rebalancing) is a DCS World distribution and cluster solution that turns a stock Eagle Dynamic Dedicated Server into an autonomous battlefield.
IASER adds two capabilities DCS lacks natively:
| AI Command | Scripted triggers, static scripts | War Manager + layered AI, dynamic re-planning |
| Economy | Manual or none | First-class engine: funds, factories, logistics |
| Scale | Single machine | Cluster solution, auto-scaling workers |
| Compute Load | Runs inside DCS Lua (blocks sim) | Offloaded to worker pool (non-blocking) |

EAGLE DYNAMIC DCS WORLD DEDICATED SERVER
Every capability below is part of IASER — the only Saszel Studio project.
A Python-based ABM that commands entire theaters: economy, strategy, force command, recon/intel, and reactive AI that re-plans as the battle shifts.
A non-blocking pipeline — Redis Streams queue, FastAPI + Celery/Ray worker pool, and a Lua bridge for safe result ingestion into DCS.
Multi-machine runtime that scales offloaders across workers, Redis, and state stores — not just a single host.
IASER splits the problem into two cleanly decoupled halves joined by an asynchronous bridge. The game layer keeps doing what DCS does best — physics, visuals, unit state. The AI layer — the War Manager and the offloaders — does what DCS cannot: plan, economize, and command.
Saszel Studio is a software studio whose flagship, and current sole, project is IASER — an AI command and offloading layer for the DCS World Dedicated Server.
IASER is a documentation-first specification. Running it alongside a stock DCS Dedicated Server is free during our early access program.
No. IASER runs over a standard Eagle Dynamic Dedicated Server through its public HTTP API and telemetry — no patched binaries required.
Right now, everything we do is IASER. We're keeping our focus narrow so we can ship it well.
